Senator Jean Berkey
Jean Berkey was first appointed to the Washington House of Representatives in 2001, and then the Senate in 2004. She has been serving as your Senator for six years now, representing the people of Everett, Marysville, and the rest of the 38th Legislative District.
Jean is passionate about bringing jobs back to our community, and has passed several bills that put money into the hands of families right here in the 38th. She has worked on issues like bringing money to help pay for more training for aerospace mechanics, increasing the course offerings at Everett Community College, founding a four year college in Snohomish County, protecting the rights of homeowners, stabilizing community based credit unions, and much more.
Jean grew up in Everett, the daughter of a professor at Everett Junior College. She and her family have spent their lives here, working to make Everett and Snohomish County into the best part of Washington State.
